Men League

Winter INDOOR & Outdoor Registration Now Open!
We are now processing team and free agent (individual or group of friends welcome!) registration for upcoming Jan. - March divisions. 
League provides shirts, game officials, fields, equipment, league administration, awards.

Indoor 5v5 Division

    • Winter Indoor starts 1/8 - 3/15
    • Divisions: Mon/Tues, Tues-Thurs, Sundays
    • Time: 6:30-9:00pm games
    • Roster: 9 players 
    • Entry dues: $1700

Outdoor Division

    • Weeknights Mon-Thurs
    • Time: 7:00-9:00pm games
    • Roster: 11 players
    • Entry dues: $1700

Captain/Coordinator must complete roster/waiver form Click Here in full,  then mail back with payment to league office to start registration process. Team captain/coordinator must ensure that players comply with all registration requirements. League must receive registration package (signed waiver, player picture ID copies, payment) in a timely manner prior to start of season in order to secure season slot.

  • Existing teams receive registration priority up to 2 weeks prior to season thereafter on first come basis.
  • Complete registration package (signed waiver, player picture ID copies, payment) 
    must be received by our accounts receivable dept. in order to process.
  • Applications accepted will generally be notified week prior to start of season.

What's the Cost?

  • $1600 team fee: 6v6 Outdoor
  • $1700 team fee: 7v7, 8v8 Outdoor
  • $1700 team fee: 5v5 Indoor

*Note: checks will not be charged until teams/free agents guaranteed placement!

Fee includes:  
9 Weeks season,  soccer field fees, hired referee fees, equipment , team shirts, league administration, awards

How long is the season?
Generally season runs for 9-10 Weeks. 
Teams plays once a week,  weeknights divisions 6-10:30pm, 
weekends game 11am-9pm games.

What fields are games played on?
Urban Soccer fields are located primarily in Downtown Manhattan Field Direction

What are the basic rules?

  • No slide tackles
  • No offside
  • Substitutions: unlimited on a fly
  • Two 22mins. halves (team changes side immediately & resumes play)
  • Gears: Turf or flat bottom  indoor shoes, soccer shorts, shin pads, league # shirts

Format?

  • Division of 8 teams
  • Teams plays each other once during regular season
  • League position will be determined by:
    • points, head-to-head, goal difference, then goals scored in that order.
  • All teams advances to 1st round of  single elimination playoffs at end of regular season!

Sportsmanship
Urban Soccer is first & foremost a recreational league. We strive for fun fair play (aggressive play, foul language will NOT be tolerated!), respect for referees/staff, opponents, safe playing environment.
